How do the time limits work?

We have several time limit tools available. You can chose them by clicking on your Avatar > "Edit Limits".

You can then choose to close your account for a shorter time through a time out or a longer time through self-exclusion.

The Reality Check reminds you every so often about the time you have spent gambling. It reminds you about your gameplay time and asks you whether you want to continue playing.

Time out gives you the chance to take a break for up to 6 weeks. It allows you to “cool down” if you want to take a break for a certain amount of time.

You can also apply self-exclusion between 6 months and 5 years to take a prolonged break from gambling. Sometimes, that can help to focus on other things in life and re-evaluate your gambling.
